Is $54K High for a 2002 996TT?
I really need some advice on a 2002 996TT 6-Speed with $31K miles. I would not be trading, and would be buying the car straight out. This one is actually at a dealership in Maryland. They are asking $54K for it. My gut is telling my that there is a HUGE dealership markup going on there. The car is not an X50 and doesn't have any special options. Shouldn't a 2002 be going for about $48K?
I bought a 2001 with 25k miles two weeks ago for around $41k (with her wheels). It had a couple faults, but I'd say that price is a bit high... You can get a better deal if you're a bing patient.

Price sounds a little high for a non-X50. Since it's a Porsche dealership, is the car CPO? That can add to the value/price.
I have been following TT priices for almost 2 years and i have yet to see one sell for $41 especially with 25K miles unless the car has/had stories...
To the OP,unless the car is CPO,it should go for $46-47...
Marshall Goldman in OH has couple of '01's with mid teens for 54...
But $41 for an '02 with 25K is still way too low
Here's some advice if you are willing to spend $50K+. Hold out for a really nice one with the mods you are looking for. Mods chew up $$ when you are paying for them. If someone else did them for you already you'll pay fifty cents or less on the dollar. Buy one from someone here! I wish I had.
