The camber plates are in and installed. Hopefully I'll get the car aligned and driven in the next few days.
BTW the washers in the picture are no longer needed after the monoball cartridges are installed (Note: the monoball cartridge is installed backwards in this picture).

Very nice write up Steve!!! Looks really good and seems like a pretty simple job. Looks like an additional great option. I don't think very many people even know this option existed. I went with new oem top hats but....Had I known about this option I would have definitely considered it Looking forward to your driving impressions with them on the car.
Interesting that the concave washers are no longer needed. With oem top hats the top of the shock piston with a small washer on top goes up against one of these concave washers. Looks like Elephant worked it into their design to not have to use those parts. Pretty cool!
Just for reference a pic from my thread with notes on H&R coilovers:
The "Small Dished Washer" is still used, but the monoball insert now sits on top of the of the small dished washer, so you don't need the larger washer.
It appears to me that the large washers on top and bottom of the stock hat are simply to spread some load over the larger rubber area of the bushing.
I have driven the car several times, since the install and I can say that the new monoball cartridges and not noticeably noisier than the stock bushings. I might notice something if I had a quiet exhaust, but I doubt it.
I have read this thread and the related thread on front suspension creaking that the OP also posted in. My car does same thing, but when I attempted to remove the top strut nut, it wouldn't come off on either side, so I can't replace bearings. I tried soaking in Kroil, PB Blaster; tried a heat gun careful not to cook rubber in top mount; and impact driver. Any other helpful hints other than me cutting off nut and destroying strut threads/having to purchase new coilovers? Thanks.
Get a better impact driver... I had the same issue when I replaced my camber plates. I don't know why people crank them on so hard - it's not like they are going to fall off. Use a better/faster impact driver (electric 350 Ft Lbs) and hold for five-ten seconds. The nut will come off.
