What kind of times are bolt on 991 Turbo S running??
Did u buy the C7 like that, or have ECS do the work after you purchased it? I ask because a friend Greg Q sold his a little while ago, same color, same ECS package etc.
What day are you guys going? I live about 15 miles from Atco, would like to stop by

No offense Jeff but that sounds way off. If you lost in a 800hp z06 to a stock turbo s then either your a very bad driver or that vette was on winter tires lol I agree I could lose in the quarter but all my 60 ft times are 1.5 or 1.6 at worse so the launch won't completely kill me. I have no doubt I would catch it in the half mile.

Bring your vette out to the half mile event in VA and run it against some 991 TTS's and see. If nothing else, it will be fun...also, I like seeing different sides to this race and it's about 50/50 as far as input on who will win. Can't wait to see the video or update on the race!
I will be at the Virginia race and I'm looking forward to seeing you there. Due to the still unreleased champion VTG turbo upgrade I will probably be running the exact same set up I had in Ocala unfortunately.
Sgt1871, I look forward to seeing you there. Runway is great and traction is good due to it being concrete. The elevation will kill times but its just fun to get out and see everyone. I havent lost to a vette yet to include the 200mph plus ones. Ive beat Alpha 12's, Alpha 16's and underground lambos. However, i did loose to the GTR that hit 235 while driving the 918 spyder. I just dont see this vette beating a moded 991 tts. It only has 580hp!!! As a mater of fact, the record holder for NA is a C5 running my engine with 740 rwhp and the tts pounds it as well!

A stock 991 TTS is rated at 560hp I believe so it probably makes around 460-475awhp.
I'm not arguing just letting ya know!

but Jeff the 580hp is rwhp. In example the c7 Z06 is rated at 650hp and makes about 540-550rwhp. Therefore my car with 580rwhp is more like 670-680 horsepower and that's only on 8lbs of boost. My kit is capable of 14lbs. I can run 10lbs no problems but to run the full 14lbs I would do forged pistons first just to play it safe. Everything else on the C7 LT1 motor is already forged from the factory.

Yeah but the point here is we aren't talking stock to stock. The question in your OP was about bolton modded cars and most of these with the stage 3 Cobb or Stage 2+ Champion are making around 580awhp, we have plenty of dyno's posted. With the turbo mods it's a good bit more. The TTS puts that power down a whole lot better than the Vette because of how it's weigh is distributed and of course he awd. The Vette driver needs to be pretty skilled with evenly matched rwhp, which I assume you are.

I agree about the turbo putting the power down better but the original post was about a track prep surface and I would be on drag radials. It's common for vettes to 60ft 1.4-1.5 60ft with drag radials. As far as my driving skills I am decent but this new car of mine is an 8 speed auto so I can't take credit lol
My friend who has the same set up but runs 11lbs instead of 8lbs just went to the track last week at Atco and ran 10 flat. Here is his slip. I am just waiting on the Turbo S to give us a new date but he hasn't yet. I am not trying to drag this out and I will certainly post the vid win or lose it doesn't matter to me. It's 2 cars that I love and I intend to own a 911 turbo some day soon also.
