Sorry to hear You drove 20 hours round trip to experience the Saturday fog which zonal told preventing any runs that day. The weather forecast was why I decided not to go and to go to DC instead for the weekend where I had a great time with friends and family.

Slipstream's July 23-24 half mile event in Pennsylvania -- which does have a rain date unlike Wannagofast were people like me just LOST their money as well as incurred a $475!hotel cancellation fee even though I cancelled 48 hours in advance -- will have signups tomorrow. It will sell out within minutes.

 

I know! So many people won't go back to VA's event. Don't think I'll make slipstream...

 

You will be missed at Slipstream. The runway was super fast -- I ran faster with me and my son (420 lbs total) and no weight taken out at Slipstream than at Ocala when I had a 135 lb driver in the car with weight removed. And Slipstream has a rain date

 

I hope my car will be shipped out today. I hope there isn't any delays or it will set me back another event! We are 8 days out from Ga 1/2 mile....

jeff i wont be able to make clayton. car simply wont be ready. i have since moved the car to a shop in atl so it can be completed by the end of may. should be able to make all the other wannagofast events for the yr. hope to see you there!

 

Are you going to hang out anyways? Your welcome to hang with us! Also, a little setback with the TTS as it was supposed to be hauled to Atlanta last night but it sprung an oil leak sobthe engine will have to come out again. Even if it makes it here by the end of the week, it's to much to ask to get it turned etc while the event is going. I'll just bring the 918...

without a car to run im going to save my time ff for other events. the shop i chose in atl has said they will do their level best to get it done by the end of may. cant ask for more than that. theres a ton of wiring that has to be done. then the entire car has to be nut and bolted since they didnt build the driveline. then initial startup, break in, driveability tunes then 93 and finally e85 files for power. add rolling antilag, 2 step, launch control,and no lift shifting files theres a lot to be done

 

I know your upset as where you thought your car would be vice where it's at. All you can do is to find someone reputable to getting you back and running. A true gentleman to hold your tongue... Ill see you at the next event in GA around Sep?? You should be up by then.
