FabWorx Custom Fabrication

Not exactly 996TT related...I know there has been some misinformation and less than ideal experiences carried over from past arrangements with other shop that have tarnished the FabWorx name. But I want to take a second to share why I trust these guys with my money, my car, and my time.

I know my experience is just an n of 1, but its things like this that really show you who is behind the shop.

Long story short:
  • Me and some friends were racing the 24 Hours of Lemons at NJMP this weekend
  • We spent months and a lot of time and money to prepare our car for our first weekend of wheel-to-wheel endurance racing
  • We were heavily invested, and very excited
  • A few hours into the first day the car shuts off while on track, we trace the problem back to a faulty Walbro 255 fuel pump
  • In the middle of nowhere, on a Saturday afternoon we were sure we were done
  • Keith (owner of FabWorx) was one of the dozen or so people I reached out to with a glimmer of hope to get us back on track
  • Within 10 minutes he had a pump sourced and was on his way to pick it up and personally deliver it
  • Fast forward another hour, the pump is in and we are racing
  • We complete the race Sunday evening as one of the few rookie teams to finish the full event, turning 140+ laps around NJMP Thunderbolt, 120 of which were after the fuel pump failure)
