Welp, the interior guys finished. The motor seems to be running great. It's a nice driver. I guess I'll just drive the hell out of it. Feels kind of weird that it's not down in pieces...

 

are those reworked stock seats or something custom made or aftermarket? Looks like the original seat with a fancy recover which looks great! Love the stitching and mix of leather / alcantera...

 

Yes, they are original reworked. The square pattern took a bit to warm up to but I like it now. It's hard to see in the pic but all the CF has green copper in them. When you shine light on it, the green pops out. Kind of neat.

I have a body shop so I did the work all myself. I couldn't imagine paying someone. I don't know if you can tell, the sides skirts are molded into the quarter panel. Took a whole lot of work.

 

Do any of you guys know if all the 996 (6speed) shift ***** are interchangeable?

 

ah-HAH! me either. was gonna ask. looks like at least 10K+ in work! yeah the skirts, and it all looks incredible.

they should be. i have a 997 **** on my numeric. i like the shape better than the 996
