Are the bracket holes centered? They look offset..couldn't you just rotate the bracket 180degrees or swap left to right and line the holes up?

bunob is infamous around these parts
Yes they are, I just can move it to the top or the bottom but not to the left or the right.

On the top of the bracket there is VELCRO so I cant rotate them...

The parts numbers are differents for the RH and LH so swap dont change anything...
AM V8V 2006
- 6G33-17B681-AG Bracket, rear bumper mounting, RH
- 6G33-17B682-AG Bracket, rear bumper mounting, LH
AM V12V 2013
- 6G33-17B681-AG Bracket, rear bumper mounting, RH (Idem AMV8V 2006)
- 6G33-17B682-AG Bracket, rear bumper mounting, LH (Idem AMV8V 2006)

Are you talking about loosening the screws? I'm actually talking about removing the screws and flipping the bracket.

The Velcro is used for pre 2013 models..2013MY+ use a another bracket with Velcro to secure the bumper top section just below the boot lid...new bracket prevents bumper from sagging where bumper meets boot lid

Sorry for my late answer, I have just got back my painted parts !

@Irish07 :
By loosening screws it does not allow to move the bracket a lot :-(

10 and 11 are the brackets and are the same as previous years, I understand. I'm asking you if you take out the screws..remove the screws, don't just loosen, physically remove them....if you flip the bracket side-to side(swap them), can you not get the clips to line up?

The hole the clip goes into looks like its off centered..so swapped sides will move the clip hole and possibly line up...just a thought, not stating it will work.

The new Velcro bracket is not in that picture, it's # 38 and part number is FG33-17B681-AA

Funny, I like those wheels on my stock V8V, but they look goofy with the V12 bumpers. Nice work, but I would have spent the money on ECU flash, wheels, suspension, brakes, etc. Not sure it changed the looks for the better.

Of course, this is already done for :
- Twin plate clutch (organic) with lighter flywheel
- Exhaust manifold
- 200 cell cats
- ECU

And I whould do when my parts will be out (for brake discs and dampers)

this is only the beginning of the transformations...

I love the Racing Hood that the vCollection has, it is on my list of thing to purchase eventually. I have AM light weight Sports Pack wheels on mine and love them but they are hard to find used and new well $$$$, you should find a nice set of HRE that you like
