997 Turbo Calipers pads and Rotors

Ive been offered a set of 997 Turbo six piston front Calipers and four piston rear calipers with pads and rotors for a good price.

Will these fit directly on without further modification?

Presently I run 997T 350mm rotors with spacers and standard 996T calipers.

Cheers,
Tim

Maybe they are the steel variety but aren't there two sizes of 997 calipers? Thought PCCBs were bigger.

Brake balance will be off with the 997 rear calipers. Fronts are fine.

Tim, aren't those the GT3 brake calipers you're looking at? Same as mine, they bolt straight up with 997TT rotors, GT3 front rotors will not fit properely but rear will.

Speak to my indie Stuart at NineAuto who installed mine.

oh yeah Jimbo your right buddy they are 997.2 GT3 Rotors and calipers my mistake.

Anyway I've bought the whole lot Rotors Pads and Calipers.

Are you saying I cant use the GT3 rotors?

In the pics they look like standard 350mm Rotors to me mate, why couldnt I use them?

Are the 997.2 GT3 rear rotors smaller than 350mm?

If so can I just swap the front calipers and leave my standard 996T Rear Calipers with my all round 350mm discs?

Thanks to everyone for their input its much appreciated

Cheers,
Tim \

997tt calipers and 997 rotor are a straight bolt on deal. You already have the longer bolts if you're using spacers now so you're good thete. As for bias, John says the 997 calipers makes the bias better not worse.

Front gt3 rotors will be offset and not centered, making them not ideal when pads low.
You can use the gt3 rear rotors.

Yes. You have to run 350 rotors with the 997tt rear calipers anyway.

What do I need to do to correct this buddy? I dont get what you mean by offset?

Maybe ill cancel this sale It seems to be getting too hard originally I thought they were 997.2 Turbo brakes (my mistake) but are actually 997.2 GT3 brakes which I thought were the same as 997T brakes anyway?

They certainly look the same.

GT2/3 brakes are direct bolt-ups, just can't use the front GT discs with a TT upright/spindle as the disc offset is different, caliper size/mounting is the same GT/TT. Both 997.1 GT/TT use 350mm steel discs all-round, 997.2 GT have 380mm front, TT 350mm
Buy and enjoy the 997 brake bias
