Just back from strip

First time to the track with Turbo Tom...Hot humid day here..DA 3821..poor prep..tires are nearly done...fresh Michelin PSS to go on soon.

I'm happy with this as a starting point...next comes Sam's magic

It actually "corrects" to about 10.6 which...with the condition of the tires and track I'd say is close to the norm

The consistency is great. These cars are made of granite. Corrected times don't really generate much conversation though.

Better to find a track at negative sea level with mineshaft DA and run a hero #.

Great looking car!

1.63 60' isn't bad for poor tires/prep.

At least you have a crap track baseline you can build on lol. We have crap tracks and fuel here in Southern California too. Great job G and I bet the times drop from here!

For a turbo? Sounds like a naturally aspirated CF.

That DA was horrible.

I cry when I race under any DA above 1000.

These cars are pretty consistent...your 60's were not bad if your tires are in fact shot and track surface was crappy. Your MPH tells me a lot though...it tells me your HP was not there that day.

Also, what is the highest octane gas available in your area?

Thanks,
E-Gear

Best gas from the pump is 91 ethanol free or 93 (so they claim) with up to 10% ethanol.
Racing fuel is available of course but would be tune specific
