Here's an update that will give you an idea of just how much oil gets trapped by the catch can. I installed mine when I had only 180 miles on my car. I now have 6659 miles. In that time, I've accumulated a whopping 3/4 cup of really thick, nasty brown oil. Here's a pic:
great job. I will buy this kit from Stuart. Could you please keep us also up to date with the development of your lightweight battery kit (new thread?). I would be very interested in it.

Hi Maximilian,
The battery kits are already on the market - if you do a Google search for "Redpants Aston Martin" you should find the website where they're available. Can't post a link because it's a non-sponsor website.

Yep, I'm tracking it. Just saying if I can get my hands on one sooner then I can get these things ready to go earlier than the end of the year.
You can get one sooner if you want to store it or I get a good deal for shipping twice. Something like that buddy. Its all details come end of Sept. But yes I know what you would rather have, situation wise.
I'm swapping out the seats in my car for Recaro buckets and turning the OEM seats into lounge chairs. The big sphere thing is a liquor cabinet. I can't get that thing into my townhouse without using a crane to lift it onto the 2nd-floor deck. I'm going to be having a wine console made this fall, which also needs to be lifted onto the deck. When that happens, i'll be moving the whole bar setup inside from the garage and opening the second car spot back open.
Anyway, point of all that is I don't mind keeping my car in the driveway for a little bit to store your car in my garage, but long-term storage isn't happening until I get the garage cleared out. Not sure when that'll be because the wine console is being custom made (plus time for freight shipping, crane rental, etc).
