Guys:

I moved to SoCal from Chicagoland a couple years back. In my old house I had a 4 car garage that I finished with VCT tile, which held up remarkably well (~7 years before I moved) even with Chicago winters and plenty of wrenching in the garage.

My current house has a 3 car garage (although the 3rd is really small) and the concrete was creating a lot of dust and just not in the best of shape. Also, the walls and what not were painted 20 years ago and needed some attention. So, I painted the walls, ceiling, and footer walls. And then last weekend, I got around to tiling the garage with Armstrong VCT. I still have some work to do to conceal the ugly HVAC and water heater, and will post pictures with my solution to that in a week or so. When I get the motivation I'll paint the door moldings as well..maybe black or perhaps the same white as the walls.
