i bought the LED smoked ones of eBay. They were plug and play and worked well, although I had to pry the tabs open a little to make them work. Looks and works great. see my other post titled - couple of mods....
I plastidip smoked mine to match the matte plastic scoop around the front led strip. Matches well. Another option and keeps the well made oem market intact.
These definitely don't work guys. Come on look at the shape.
I assumed that pic was to show the style of light (the pic shows a 2011-2014 side marker location, not 2015+) but the parts fitment guide shows the clear side markers available for all 2015 Cayenne models. If they fit the 2015 cars, they should fit 2016 as well.
You do raise a good point though. Maybe it's a mistake on their page. Or maybe they have two kinds available.
They don't have clear lenses for a 2015+; their website is wrong on that. They are going to work to correct the site. Thanks to jtorrebl for bringing up the question.
The 2015-2016 part numbers are:
958-631-127-00 SIDE MARKER LAMP, LEFT
958-631-128-00 SIDE MARKER LAMP, RIGHT
Those are the orange ones. No clears exist.

So, there's definitely going to be an issue getting clear lenses...On Euro 2015+ Cayennes, there is NO cutout where the ambers are, so there is no need for clears. So Porsche will never offer them, and it could be a long while (if ever) someone will make them. That means probably never for actual clear lenses unless some supplier gets enough gumption to make them, which is unlikely given the small production run AND the tiny percentage of people that convert them to clear out of the total run.
Right now, the only option is to paint them (something like this Panamera):
What I SHOULD do is start a company and make the following:
- Clear side markers
- An 'always off' chip installs in your switch that turns off the start-stop bull**** 5 seconds after you start the car
- A 'remember' chip that installs in your sport switch and remembers if you were in Sport mode and puts you back in it 5 seconds after you start the car
- A chip that takes the CONFIRM request off the navigation map

Here's mine plastidip sprayes in while on the car but masked off during application. Too easy to do. Matches the front aircraft scoop in texture. Looks factory
