I talked to him today... Man, you've got that car dialed in. If I can get close to that fast, I'll be very happy.

track was ****, spun through third. Only made one 1/4mi pass and they kicked me out.

First pass went a 6.8 @ 119, but I got on the brakes because it spun so bad and didnt want to get kicked out (10.4 @ 110mph, lol)

launched it basically off idle and let it bog and stayed in it for the 1/4 (bad mistake)

7. @ 118 1/8th 10.3 ish @ 157.

Weather was not great either. going back in a few weeks. figure a 9.7 @ 160ish should be doable.

Well... wife and I made it out to a local 1/8th mile track this evening. Temps were good, track prep was good as well. Best pass by me was a 6.76 @ 104.70 mph with a 1.55 60' time.

Wife made her best 1/8th mile pass this evening as well running a 7.17 @ 103.19 mph! She's getting better with each outing. It was a fun night.

awesome.. thats bookin it. Hoping my car is running by next weekend with this great weather.

 

Weather is definitely helping with our times... hopefully I'll get our new wheels and tires installed before we go again. I think new tires will improve our times even more.

Lemme know if you go back to Ennis, I'd like to see your car run again. Maybe we can pair up, I want to see how much track is between us at the finish line?
