New car/member intro

Hey all,
Glad to be back in the fold with a 2003 C4S, coupe M6. Got it a week ago after searching since August. The one that [I]didn't [I] get away! Near mint interior, hard to believe it has 106k on it.
Happy to be here, a great site to learn n share info.

I plan to fix the damn frunk light, but I just lost round 1. I pulled off the trim behind the bumper, but couldn't find the microswitch that controls the light. Pulled the front liner back, and separated the connector coming from the latch. Sprayed with CRC, reconnected, voila! Light goes on. I put my phone in the trunk, video on to make sure it goes out. Close trunk, reopen, no light.
Freaking Germans, couldn't make it simple, could you? This is not over!
I may do the Fister mod in the future, but that's about the extent of my ambition. How about you?

I think the C4S has the best rear end! Great pickup and enjoy her! Don't leave her in the garage like I do and only drive her to Target or the mall.

Ach, the mall, never! I took it to the annual PCA concour in Phoenix today, and I'm pretty sure I picked up a ding right on the pass. rear wheel arch. I know there was one on the drivers side, but I swear that was the only one when I first got it home. Is there anywhere safe, jeez?!
