Hi,

I am looking to purchase my first 991. I own a '78 911sc and want a daily driver that is sport and fun.

I am looking at a 991 Non-S, Aqua Blue / Yachting Blue, 7S, Sport Design Exterior, SD Steering Wheel, Rear Wiper, 20 inch Carrera S Wheels, Wheels in Platinum, seat heating, Bose, No Sunroof, and finally sports seats. The car does not have Sport Chrono.

Is the blue/blue combo too much? What about the options - are they decent?

I would really appreciate your comments in regards to this matter. I will be keeping the car for 2 or 3 years until the wife approves a Turbo purchase!

love the exterior, but the interior is a bit much for me -- too smurf

 

I love me some yachting blue interior. Would look better with a non blue exterior but still very nice

 

Exterior looks pristine , the blue interior is a bit much but if you like it, that is all that counts. I have a blue 981 boxster with agate/pebble interior and I think that is the perfect combo.

Great exterior color, not a fan of the interior color at all.

What is the VIN? The options are okay, I don't see Sports Chronos, no PSE, no ventilation seats. If you provide the VIN, we can get the whole list of options.

 

I don't have the vin on hand, but I know the options are:

Aqua Blue / Yachting Blue, 7 Spd, Sport Design Exterior, Sport Design Steering Wheel, Rear Wiper, 20 inch Carrera S Wheels, Wheels in Platinum, seat heating, Bose, No Sunroof, and sports seats. The car does not have Sport Chrono, premium package, PSE, etc...

Seriously, if you like the color combo -- it is unusual but that's not necessarily sufficient reason to reject the car -- that's all that matters.

 

I like it, wouldn't be my first choice but would prefer it over black.

 

Car looks clean and the combo is fine plus it's got an MT in there.

 

That is what all sports car should have, a proper 6 speed manual.
