I'm ordering my first 911, and a turbo at that!
I intended on building a 4S but I extremely over-optioned it so the turbo made more sense.
Guards red cabriolet with turbo rims, black interior, red dials and seat belt.
My dealer is gently pushing red contrast stitch. Will it add to aesthetics of the car, or will the red stitch be too much and cheese it out?
I was torn back and forth on the red/black vs normal red. Is everything blacked out a fad near it's end? I almost went black rims, smoked tail lights, black headlights, black letters, etc. I ended up going classic style instead of sporty.
Also do you keep the "turbo" badge on the back?
I like the Turbo font, but at the same time since it's my first high end sportscar it's frustrating to know coworkers and family are going to look up the cost and gossip.
I would not have solid red IMHO. I do not like the red carpets etc. I think the contrast adds to it.
However, if I were building a red car like you. I also would do the black interior. I would not do the red gauges, as I did not like them in my last 911 that had them.
But that said, they will compliment the cars color choice well. I like the red belts and I would spring for the deviated red stitch if the budget allows.
I would do black headlamps and smoked tails. The base turbo wheel is average at best ( my 2017 has them ) I'd do the thick 5 spoke wheel and have it painted black.
Congrats on the first 911 and welcome to the family. Pictures are required when you get the car or we will ban you
I meant on the exterior. Normal red and chrome/allum/silver, vs red and every option blacked out on the exterior.
My wife has the red/black interior in her old cayenne, and her new cayenne is going to have carmine red paint, black wheels and letters, probably smoked tails and headlights too.

Don't take it to work......and BTW congratulations!

Definitely go with the red deviated stitching inside. Whenever I see a car without deviated stitching, I always notice that it's missing. I personally love it!
Don't stress so hard on the badges, you can always remove them or black them out later pretty inexpensively.
For the overall interior, go with red/black. The all red interior is a bit too much for me. I prefer the black dash and carpets with red seats. It helps break up all the red inside.

I did a similar thing, but C2S to TT in my case. I bought a 997 GTS and enjoyed it for a year, then placed the (CS) order. Changed it a week before lock so I got a long wait. My TT is just past Panama.
I ended up doing a guards red coupe with black accents throughout. I considered the black/red interior but ended up instead going for a black interior with red stitching everywhere. I also went with the black rims, aerokit, letters, lower mirrors, and headlights. I skipped the tinted tails but may have the dealer get the exhaust pipes black. In absolute terms it's rather costly for paint and stitching but it's not too bad in relative terms. I got all the interior and performance options I cared for as well, so I'll lose on resale but enjoy the car more.
I'm in my thirties, and if I were older I might find this configuration a bit too shouty. I was considering the red seatbelts (and might get them later on from Suncoast if I decide I should have) but I think the red painted interior bits and red gauges are a bit too much.
It's pretty reasonable to keep it simple and use the TT wheels and silver accents and do the black/red interior. It would save a pile of money and looks good just the same. No bad choice unless you would regret it later.
You also have the option to do the seats in two tone, red seats with black center inlays in your case. This option does not show on the Porshe 'build your own' site but your Dealer has access to it when ordering. Cost was $720 Cdn on my 2 tone Blue and chalk interior.
25491 : Seat Inlays of Front and Rear Seats in Standard Leather Devi.............................................. .$720 Cdn
From my pic, replace blue with black and chalk with red to give yo an idea.
I also love the different look from the heated Carbone steering Wheel !
As far as the badging i would'nt worry too much. The side air vents make a turbo very obviously a turbo, whether you debadge it or not. I debadged my car just because i like the cleaner look. If you're dead set on black leather then i would very much recommend the deviated stitching. It will pop well without looking too busy
