Sport Classic wheels on a 997 Turbo?

I'm looking to pick up a 997.1 Turbo. Anyone put OEM sport classic wheels on?

Looks good black on black. But those sure aren't cheap. Let me know when you get your turbo. I may make you an offer for the Oem turbo rims

I would love to have them on my White TTS. Just don't have a good answer for my wife when she asks if I really NEEDED the third set of wheels.

I love classic sport wheels. I had those turbo wheels on a red 08 997S. Look good too.

What do you guys think about these wheels? Half the price of sport classics. OS design II.

Look the same, made in Germany, therefore should be TUF certified if they are also sold on the German market. Hard to argue against. I assume Porsche center caps fit? I'd also want to ensure the offsets are correct for your car. The downside of mass marketed aftermarket wheels is sometimes there are compromises to fit since it's made for multiple applications.

Personally I'd rather have the Porsche wheels but wheels are something I don't change out anymore. Lot of cabbage and never looks as nice as OEM. However on my last 997, I came real close to buying a set of Sport Classics! That was going to be my last wheel purchase!

I seriously would rock some 19" speedlines if they existed to mimic the 964s - I'm not normally a retro wheel guy but for some reason it just looks right on a porsche.

Found a photo. Looks good on a 997 Turbo.

Needs to be lowered, of course

Any other ideas?
