i would email engine builder supply and ask what it would cost for them to ship you a complete gasket kit. mine was 1600$ top to bottom every oring and gasket and that also included new crank and rod bearings. personally i have found fvd to be way overpriced

yamabond can be found at any yamaha dealer or you can use hondabond as well. the locktite 574 is difficult to find found mine on ebay 1 oz is about 60$

EBS Racing in Reno is the best deal. Here is my bill. I had them subtract the HG as I went with Cometic.

Thanks guys!

Will check with EBS.
Since I live in Europe, it might not be the best option though, because of shipping and import costs.. Will check.

So that gasket set tehy do, does that include ALL gaskets? bottom end, top end, everything you need to put the whole engine together?

the crank pulley bolt - you needed to take off pulley to replace main bearing #8?

But the gasket kit doesnt include the various liquid gaskets right?
Also are those original Porsche gaskets in the kit?

Liquid gaskets are separate. Not sure who makes the gaskets. They seem better than the ones I pulled out is some instances actually. You might email them to ask.

Found some info on those gasket kits. They are made by Wrightwood Racing and are known to be high quality if not better than OEM. Here is a thread about it:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-e...k-gaskets.html

Thanks,
I ordered all the parts for the engine (incl gasket kit) from FVD last week.

Now heads are being prepared for CNC porting and cutting valves / seats.
Also 12mm stud kit should arrive today so we can start machining crankcase and engine parts to acommodate these studs.

EFR turbos have arrived.
See pic below with BW v-band housing vs. SRM housing.
It is really nice with the plug n play nature of the SRM housings, but damn those v-band housings look well designed..
They are 0.85 A/R though vs 0.6 on the SRM housings.
For my 800whp goal, I think the SRM housings will do more than fine.

No the EFR Turbo is available from Borg Warner with v-band or a couple of T3 flanged variants i think.
But SRM sells the EFR7163 eliminator kit incl a special K24 style turbine housing designed to make EFR plug n play. Nice.

s65e90 is infamous around these parts
I sometimes wonder if those SRM turbos are Chinese and then cleaned up on a lathe.

How EFR looks next to K16..
Unfortunately I no longer have my GTX3071 turbos, they sold.
Would have liked to compare.
