It's easy to mould kydex to any weapon shape (black plastic with infinite memory) we use it for competition holsters, this could be fitted under the glove compartment near the tps system, easy to get to when you need it.

I'm not sure having a handgun in the trunk ads any value, it's like the gun in the gun safe at home and burglars in your room at night

I have a glock 19,I have with most all the time, it saved me a Rolex or two in the past 20 years since we have been introduced to democracy as you most likely know the ANC ' s definition of democracy is we can take anything we want from you as long as your a tax payer.

Yes the AR15 will be better but out of place in an Aston......unless it's a Daniel Defence I'm a serious label ****

I cant get political, as we have politically sensitive aston owners on this forum, but I am a believer that if we armed every citizen and prepared them for responsible gun ownership in school (like primary school) crime would come down.

In SA the Police have disarmed every legal gun owner making it harder and harder for a citizen to retain a legal arm for self defense they claim and the sheep believe that by removing guns from licenced owners they are removing guns from the streets, claim lost guns get used in robberies and murders!!
Yes some people do lose guns, but for the most of our Police sell there service guns and most robberies when the perps are brought to book are fund to be R4 assault rifles and ex police and stolen military weapons.

So imagine when a bunch of thugs walk into a busy restaurant filed with families enjoying a Sunday lunch and point a R4 or AK47 at a young unarmed family how it goes???

Now imagine a restaurant with 50 families all armed and the same perps walk in and threaten with the same situation.

I am great believer of responsible gun ownership. I believe it saves lives

oooh and Yes I have a Licence for every single one of those babies just in case the bunnie hugers raise eyebrows but I dont believe in hunting innocent animals with high powered rifles and super scopes

 

adding a compartment to the bottom of the truck will rase it up for about 4-5 inches at least ( factoring in the foam, thickness of the rifle, optics,etc) , What bout that ,pretty much useless, slanted space in the trunk? That would be also accused easier, especially if you have gymbag or something in your truck, that would require for you to remove the bag in order to access the hidden compartment on the bottom.

 

Well on the lighter side...In the USA we never arm our women or walk down steps in front of them...😀
