Do people still look at this thread? Some of you may know, I moved from a 996T to a 997.2T, the OEM car cover does not fit the 997 so I'd like to offer it to a SF area member. Really not looking to ship, the cover has been used for about two years, is in good shape and has no tears. Of course it is dirty around the wheels and exhaust, but if it fit my 997, it would be on my car this exact moment-- PM me if this could fit your needs, KH

The alignment that is done inside the car is simply to ensure the shifter is straight up when in neutral. Easy enough to eyeball if you have too. It has no effect on the transmission. If you are off by too much the most that will happen is you have to push too hard to get into reverse or 5-6 (if left/right is off) or forward & back. If you screw it up just re-adjust the offending cable. I don't remember which is which but it's pretty obvious when you get in there.

I have two sets of 996 bumperettes. One's for a C2 and the other for a Turbo. They are both painted silver, but weren't painted well and need cosmetic work. Otherwise in good condition. Ready for a DIY paint job or as cores for a professional swap. You pay shipping.

I've got a clutch disc out of a 26K mile 996TT. Car was bone stock when the clutch disc was removed. I can ship if buyer pays for the ride. Goes in the trash next weekend if nobody claims it.

I have a stock 996TT shifter that I don't need. Installed 997ssk. Does not come with shift ****, at least until I put a new one on there. Nothing wrong with it, car had ~45k miles at removal. Free + shipping.
