Joe993 is infamous around these parts
We just installed the same headlights on my friends car and also used an HID kit from allxenon.com just to test fit and I was surprised how the came out, even with their $28 kit and cancelers they came out looking really good.

Any output pics of these headlights yet? I know people love "the looks" aftermarket headlights can offer but the purpose of a headlight is to illuminate the road so let's see how these Spyders stack up, 997s come equipped with nice headlights projectors from the factory so I am fairly confident the Spyders are a large step in the wrong direction in regards to output but would love to be wrong.

BTW, the 997 projectors are made by Koito and are a variation of the "Murano" projectors (same architecture but different shield design). Here is the output from a set of Murano projectors with a clear lens upgrade which focuses the light and sharpens the cutoff.
