So how did they adjust the "gap" to keep it from rubbing?

 

They said they believe the airbox was incorrectly mounted after it had been removed which caused the problem. I hope so as I don't want to have that issue again. I don't mind spending money on mods but not on replacing stuff that should nt need replacing in the first place.

 

Interesting. I was not one bit too happy about having to replace this part either, due to some tech not putting it back together correctly. The box assembly is roughly $1,500 USD! Unbelievable....now you've got me all irritated again about this debacle. : /

Unfortunately I was victim of the photobucket Ransom scam. They went from wanting 0 money per year to $400 per yeah to support third party hosting. So I deleted my account. I have re-posted the photos in Flickr but haven't got around to updating the links. I'm not even sure i can go back and edit them?

 

OK I have a new update. Finally had the suspension upgrade carried out. I can confirm it has transformed the car! Enjoy!
