Hey guys, new here. I wanted to share pictures of my Daily driver 99 996c2 on a drastic weight loss program! So far I have completely gutted the frunk including stereo amp, from the front seats back is completely gutted, sunroof, headliner and all components have been removed, center console, radio and storage all removed, door and dash speakers removed, muffler delete, and automatic rear spoiler removed...next up are new seats and steering wheel!! Hope you all enjoy

Is your daily undergoing this drastic weight loss program so it can be relegated to full track car... because there's a new toy coming in soon?? I like the gutted look. What tracks do you go to?

 

Nope daily driver and staying that way lol. Right now Utah Motorsports Park...but I've been all over

Well he's been around... you'll see him! We just set him up with a set of Longtube Competition Headers this summer... he's making even more serious power now!

 

Don't forget to move the battery to the front section of the (f)trunk.

Is there a carbon fiber sunroof replacement available?
i just came from the BMW world and there are some E9x carbon fiber panels that can be bolted into place of the sunroof.
They also fit(fit-ish that is) the E82.
Just wondering if anything like that is available for the 996.

 

I'm curious about how much weight you've lost. Do you have an estimate?
