How to remove wrinkles on leather seat?

Hello, my driver seat has some wrinkles on the back of the seat bottom. Any ways to remove them?

Very careful, even application of heat will shrink leather. There are a few demonstrations on youtube.

Watching enough Velocity I've seen some use steam, and some straight heat. I think the steam would have better effect but I've never had any wrinkles to try it on, besides those on me.

Do an internet search for removing wrinkles from leather upholstery. There are videos where they heat up towels in water in a microwave then place the hot wet towels on the leather.

I attended a seminar some years back on how to install new leather upholstery in my E-type Jaguar and use a heat gun - not a hair dryer - to remove the inevitable wrinkles that were left. I was careful to have several very wet towels at hand to immediately cool the leather after carefully applying heat. It worked like a charm. It is a balance between applying too little heat and too much. The seats looked perfect when I was finished.

If you choose to do this yourself apply only a little heat until you see a difference. Then apply only a little more, in stages, until you remove the wrinkles.

Hope this helps.

I love that wood steering wheel. I had a Cadillac a while back with a wood steering wheel, I loved it so much it was hard to ever drive anything with a leather wheel again.

My GT has a blue leather wheel which looks great, but I wish it was wood. I should check Bentley prices on updating it...just kidding.
