Polished gas cap

I have noticed that some of the late model Aston's have the polished gas cap option for $295.
My 2014 Vantage has a polished aluminum gas cap that appears to have been a standard item.
Anyone know what the non-polished cap looks like?
Thx

mine came w/a black plastic one, looked aftermarket to me but can't understand why someone would take out the polished one. spent $140 or so and bought one to "upgrade" the look.

wish they would have gone with an industry standard cap right from day one, replacements would be $30 rather than the crazy $300 price tag

my cap looks like @handyman2009 cap. Pretty close to be polished I guess. Some NeverDull on it and will be like a mirror.

Brightoncorgi, was just looking at your signature and notice that I had to update mine as I just replaced my 2014 BMW 328d with a 2017 Jaguar XE R-Sport (Diesel)... So far love the car, only had it for 2 weeks...

Neat. Which color do you have? I have 3.0 V6 Supercharged. I traded in my Evora for XE. So far, so good except for the tires. Car came with 19" Cintaurato Pirelli and we are on our 6th tire in 7K miles! Absolutely the worst, least durable tire I have ever experienced. I like P Zero Nero's I had on the Lotus... Jaguar has had some odd choices for OEM tires. Our XK had Dunlop's that were like $500+ each to replace. Very few owners did.

I am loving the Meridian stereo on the XE and the Head's Up display. Good steering for electric and nice wail from the engine!

My 09 has the polished gas cap as well.

However, the AM dealer told me my bearing in the gas cap is not the best anymore and replacement costs $500.

I'll wait till I recognize the bearing is not good anymore.

We got the Italian Racing Red with Black Pack, the car came with 18" and probably the same tires as yours but with the Diesel no tire spin... Must agree the Meridian stereo is very nice but don't have Head's up display. I had a 2009 Audi A4 then a 2014 BMW 328d and now the Jag and the new car feels solid and well planted and a lot quieter than the BMW.
