Hi all, I took apart my car a year ago and am reassembling it only now and duh, I am totally regretting not having taken notes or pics at the time..
So, as we all know, under the cup holder flap, there are two bolts that secure the front of the arm rest/cup holder in place, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what these 2 screws secure to.
I'll snap some pics. I don't think there was a bar that attached to the frame to screw into, but I drew a phantom bar so you can see what I'm talking about. Does anyone have the answer? Thx!
And here a photo of one upside down on eBay, but it doesn't really shed any light.
There should be a metal piece that these two screws go into.
The metal piece will slide under the front portion of the console where the flip tray is and compression will hold the two ends together.
There was a YouTube video out there on dismantling the console that may visualize what I’m referring to
THANK YOU. I did have ONE spare piece laying around that I was scratching my head on. Do you happen to know if it is the piece in the pic? I'm thinking yes because I just checked and the holes line up to the holes in the cup holder...
