Want it to do this for a while, didn't have time for it. Sick on sofa, nothing else to do..
Please post your car with your oem or non oem wheels. Trying to find out which wheels looks best on Vantage.
If it's aftermarket, please include details,-size, offset, brand, finish & etc. I had few different oem wheels on my car, but still tinkering about it. trying to see if there better looking aftermarket wheels looks great on vantage.
20 inch DBS/DB9 wheels, glossy black
V12 Vantage 19 inch wheels
These what it came with car. V spoke 19 inch . originally it was silver , I got it painted black.
Sports Pack wheels but previous owner had them painted dark grey, almost black... They look very nice on the car in my opinion. If I had to change them it would be for the new GTS wheels in dark grey like those
Here's my ownership history of 3 Vantages all with HRE wheels:
2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S
20" HRE P40SC Wheels in Brushed Tinted Clear, 9" Fronts +40, 11" Rears +52
2011 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black
20" HRE P101 Wheels in Brushed Tinted Clear, 9" Fronts +35, 11" Rears +47
2016 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTS
20" HRE P40SC Wheels in Brushed Clear, 9" Fronts +35, 11" Rears +47
Waiiiit a minute... You were the owner of all three cars? So you're telling me that the top three Aston Martins I drool over almost every day were at one point yours? God Bless you man, you certainly know how to put a Vantage together.
Finding the best wheel for a particular car is always subjective and up the a person's taste. Some feel only the OEM wheels will be good enough and all aftermarket, even though they might be stronger and lighter, are all inferior.
I am running a set of HRE P43SC's in a dark clear over polished finish. Here are the specs: 20x9 ET42 for the fronts running 255/35ZR20 tires, and 20x11 ET51 for the rears running 305/30ZR20 tires. The tires are the new Michelin PS4's.
I went with this set-up to have a more flush fitment and to run a wider, but similar staggered set-up, on my car. I also maintained the sidewall heights closely to what they were originally. Therefore, I am running larger diameter tires. Several other Vantages are running similar set-ups with different design wheels.
My goal was a wheel that mimicked the look of the Vantage GT4 wheels:

Yep, all three were mine. Ask Jorge, Patrick and Sato. They helped me along the way...

These were the H&R springs for the V8 Vantage paired with custom spring perch spacers to account for the V12 Vantage weight difference.
