You just need one from the Ford era of Mazda/Volvo/Aston that is threaded around. Here's one from a Volvo. You could in theory gut this plastic cap and carry over the internals. Aston also just came out with a cheap plastic cap for all it's models ...the metal cap is now an option. Don't think the part number is listed though yet
It’s looke pretty damm good once the fuel door is closed
haha, i suppose for residents of NJ or OR that's not an issue since they have their gas pumped for them, but as someone who humbly pumps his own, it's an eyesore to me
This is how we re-fuel at the track. Running the stock cap comes with more risk of paint damage than the plastic one. The funnel is huge and the bottle holds 5 gallons.
I have read here a lot of guy's have the evap codes triggered after running hard. We were trying to hypothesize why this is so. Any ideas?
Your Vantage will easily run away from them on most road courses. Our SN95 runs them down all the time. The live axle has a high roll center and a lot of lateral weight transfer. We can't run with them on the straights, but catch them cornering and braking.
My SN95 won't run with the Vantage. Just can't carry as much speed thru the corner and corner exit is not even close. It will out brake it and is faster in a straight line, but we just cannot put the power down as fast as we can in Vantage.
