Lifting a Vantage

I am going to bring a two post lift home from work. The pads are about 4" high and my 2011 V8V S appears to be not much higher. I can see driving up onto 2x10's, but I wonder if that would get the car high enough for the lift pads and pucks of some sort to clear the side skirts?

Has someone already worked this out? Thanks

Ive found that all you need is some low rise ramps to get the front up about 80-100mm then the arms & pads fit under (just)

like these

Hello Graze,

I found the ramps that you show in the link. Do you have any trouble with them moving while you are trying to drive up on them?

Thanks

Matt,

I will be getting in touch with you. Do you have the S model pucks in stock?

Unlike the higher metal ramps the plastic ones do not move as you drive up onto them

I use them at home when I need to and take them to my mates workshop if I am using his ramp

I also have Matts lifting blocks which are the most useful thing I have purchased for the V8V - highly recommended

I have a set of the pucks for my VantageS

They work perfectly!
Matt had to redo the original I ordered based on a clay molding from the S, and he was quick, responsive, and communicated the entire process end to end!

Highly recommend his services and lift pads :-)

Thanks to everyone. I bought Graze's ramps at Summit Racing (one exit away from me) and Matt's pucks are on order. My lift gets moved on Wednesday, which of course, will force me
to clean out the garage (28 x 48 x 12 high) and then I can go to work.
