Looking to buy a Mantis deep sump for a 997.1 3.8.
If anyone has one for sale.

 

Great quality piece. You'll love it. It hangs down though so also consider the LN Engineering Stainless skid plate to protect it. No affiliation with either company - just a happy customer.


Let me know if you have any installation questions. You'll need to trim the lip from your stock baffle (I had great success with an oscillating/vibrating cutting tool). and to seal the sump and windage tray to the engine, use an oil resistant sealant and smear the mating surfaces, rather than using a bead (you want to prevent it squishing out toward the inside).

 

And just don't put too much silicon.
