Selling these new in box 997 Tequipment red tails for a friend (they are in my possession and ready to ship). He bought them from a local dealer and never even opened the boxes before selling his 997. I only opened the boxes to take pics of the lights and make sure they were perfect, then sealed the boxes right back up. I already have red tails on my car and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a 5 minute mod that will really change up the look of the rear of your car.

Just got a shipping quote from FedEx and it came to $48.80 fully insured (it's the Porsche factory box for these that has 2 seperate boxes inside so it's huge and heavy -- but most importantly, SAFE). So basically figure these are offered at $330 + shipping.

Very unfortunate situation happenned with this sale as when the lights were received, they were damaged by the shipper.
Anthony is a stand up, no BS seller and promptly issued a refund.

Just wanted to let everyone know, Anthony - he handled this unfortunate situation very well.

Too bad I still need a set of red tail lights though...l

 

Thanks big_willy. I should not have trusted the factory packaging. I figured, they made it here from Germany fine, so they are good to go. WRONG. Let this be a lesson to all sellers: even OEM, NIB items should be repackaged with packing material added to make sure they are safe during shipment. Hope you can find another set of lights soon, WL. -Anthony

 

Wow, that sucks. I wanted those so bad but just missed out.

 

Shipping anything fragile like this requires a box in a box. Hopefully the shipping company you use covers the claim...
