For sale is a Sachs Motorsport clutch that has about 3k miles on it. I ran it on my 996 TT but the part numbers are good for 993 as well. Includes disk and pressure plate only. Kit good to 650 hp, very similar to stock clutch feel.

I've seen references to various "stages" of the sachs clutches. Can you tell me which "stage" this one is? Why did you take it out?

This would be a stage 2 Sachs clutch. I took it out because it was slipping in hard turns on the track only to find out that my tranny mount was toast (causing it to twist all over the place) and the throwout bearing was leaking fluid onto the pressure plate and only half of the plate/disk was getting friction. Which makes sense because it never once slipped at my probably 15 or so passes at the drag strip. I had already bought an upgraded clutch so I put it in. I had used it prior for a whole year and a half of hard track usage without any problems. The clamping force is there and it drives like stock.
