FS: '08 Ducati 848 White w/ extras

2008 Ducati 848 in White with 1200 miles. Flawless. Never been down, dropped, no scratches, nothing. Always garaged. Upgrades include Arrow Exhaust, License plate eliminator kit (Bike still comes with all factory parts as well with both keys and all books) First service and all recalls were performed by MCC Ducati dealer in IL.

Any question please let me know.. Asking price is $12,695 o.b.o. This bike is amazing I really hate to see it go but don't have any time to ride it..

It is a powerful bike.. But not as scary as some of my previous bikes like R6 CBR1000. The V-twin power band is much smoother. Plus the best sounding bike EVER

i'm looking into getting a bike, always wanted to start, but never had the chance. Now it's the right now, Ducati 848 is one of my favorite bikes and I really wish to own one soon. The only problem is I am a beginner and don't have much experience/time on these machines... by reading the motorcycle forum, it seems like i should buy a used bike around 600cc and then move my way up.

Good luck with the sale.

The problem with starting on a small bike is that in no time you'll want something bigger and/or more powerful. And the Ducs are not that big so if you respect the power, until you get familiar with the bike, you'll be fine.

Hmm, this is the bike I'm looking at and I have already test ridden one at the local Ducati dealer. I have a few things for sale that I'm close to unloading, so I may be in touch soon.

Just a heads-up though that one dealer I was working with was willing to move a new one for ~$13k since they haven't been selling that many the last 7 months or so. I'll take negotiations off-line when I'm ready and if you even still have it.

Hopefully she'll be mine, but if I can't move some things then good luck with the sale!! She's a beaut!

^ LOL. No way. 848. Same bike he's selling.

If it was for a 1098 I'd have sold some semen or something to buy it on the spot!!

My bad...wrong thread...thought we were talking the other thread. Yeah, this bike is sweet - I love my Super Blackbird but one of these would be nice along side of it.

LOL. No worries. I saw that 1098 thread as well. $18k isn't in my plans right now though. Still want to get a drop-top for the summer, so if I spend less on a bike I can still make that happen. So an 848 or even a Monster will allow me to have my cake and eat it too!

Oh I wish...

I never thought I'd even consider a bike that was white until I saw the 848 up close. I need to add a Ducati to my garage, but I'm just not able to swing it. I'll pass on the link to fellow riders though. Good luck.
