BACKGROUND
This 1998 Porsche C4S Factory Aero is truly a rare and remarkable car. Simply put, it represents the pinnacle of Porsche 911 design and engineering. (There is a reason why the 993 cars continue to appreciate in price.) The 993 is undeniably special and already recognized as a classic. This particular example is one of the finer C4S cars ever made. Driving this car is an experience that defies words! Aside from the constant thumbs-up from other drivers, the visceral sound of this car through the factory stainless steel exhaust is an enthusiast's dream come true.

This car comes with an estimated two-and-a-half years remaining on a full bumper-to-bumper warranty!! The warranty is fully transferable to the new owner. This is the only 993 I know of that has a full warranty! (This is not the type of warranty that used car dealers try to upsell you: it's the real deal.)

I searched the entire country for a top-shelf example of the normally aspirated 993. This car is just one of only 299 C4S cars that Porsche made in 1998, the final year of 993 production. The color combination is stellar. In fact, if Ralph Lauren had ordered a 993 it would most certainly look like this car. In addition, this vehicle is exceptionally well optioned:

The 4-year, 50k mile warranty was purchased by me from Don Rosen at a cost of $3,415.32 on 1/9/09. (Don Rosen is the largest Porsche dealer in Pennsylvania.) The car has not required any warranty work whatsoever. The warranty is honored by any Porsche dealer as well as any Porsche-authorized repair center. (I dare you to find another 993 that comes with a warranty like this!) Again, this warranty is fully transferrable to the next owner!

VEHICLE HISTORY

This vehicle was sourced from Weissach Autohaus in Connecticut: Weissach's website still states that this is one of the most gorgeous cars they have ever seen! I was told that this car was originally a Sloan car as well. The interior is in excellent shape and the front of the car has the typical road rash on the front bumper and onto the bonnet which can easily be resprayed, if so desired. The original turn signals (orange) have been put back on the car. (The clear front turn signals, aftermarket mats and front bumper protection bar, imported from Europe, are not included in the sale price.)

This car was lowered by the previous owner. My mechanic believes that the vehicle sports an early PSS9 set-up.

I just had the oil and filter changed (Mobile 1, of course). In addition, the left and right kinmatic toe arms were replaced, the oil cooler and A/C condenser blower resisters were replaced, and two new rear tires were added. All four wheels were recently aligned and the car just passed state inspection. I also installed a hardwire that can accept a Valentine radar detector. Add this car to your collection as it's an investment grade vehicle. I would love to keep it, but I simply don't have enough room in my garage.
