BMW is building ONLY 30 limited-edition Frozen Gray M3 coupes for the U.S. market.
The car gets a special paint scheme and the M3 Competition package as well as other goodies.
The first cars will be delivered in June, priced at $78,900.

BMW is building a limited run of ONLY 30 2011 Frozen Gray M3 coupes for the U.S. market, priced at $78,900. The sticker includes shipping and a $1,300 gas-guzzler tax.
The limited-edition model marks the 25th anniversary of the M3, which was born in Germany in 1986 and first reached U.S. shores in 1988.
The 2011 Frozen Gray M3 Coupe features unique matte gray paint with deep metallic luster, as well as a unique Fox Red-and-black two-tone leather interior.
In addition to the special paint scheme and custom interior upholstery, the Frozen Gray M3 Coupe is fitted with the M3 Competition package, which includes wider-offset 19-inch alloy wheels, a lowered suspension and sport mapping for the electronic damping control and electronic stability control. The car also gets the Premium and Technology packages as standard.
The powertrain mates BMW's 414-horsepower 4.0-liter M V8 with the M double-clutch transmission (M DCT), which lowers 0-60-mph acceleration by 0.2 second, to 4.5 seconds, from the standard six-speed manual gearbox.
Thursday, 24 June 2010 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Grey Coupe sold out in 12 minutes (U.S)

BMW has announced that the limited edition M3 Frozen Gray Coupe was sold out in 12 minutes.
The FGC (Frozen Gray Coupe) was built to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the M3. It features exclusive Frozen Gray matte paint, Competition Package (19 alloy wheels and lowered ride height), Electronic Damping Control, and an M Double Clutch Transmission, Fox Red/Black Novillo leather interior, "carbon leather" trim, heated front seats, premium sound system, satellite navigation, Comfort Access, and a one-day enrolment at the BMW Performance Driving School in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The FGC is powered by a 4.0 litre V8 with 414bhp (420PS) with 400Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
According to Larry Koch, M Brand Manager for BMW North America, "I'm personally thrilled to see that our customers are as excited about it as we are. We filled the thirty reservation slots within twelve minutes and took the names of at least fifty alternates in the first hour. The 2011 Frozen Gray M3 Coupe will be one of the most unique BMW vehicles ever imported to the U.S."

Features on the FGC are as follow:
BMW Individual Frozen Gray metallic paint, BMW Individual bi-colour (black with red) Novillo leather interior, M DCT transmission, competition package (Electronic Damping Control, 19 light-alloy wheels, lowered suspension, sport mapping for EDC and DSC), premium package (electric folding mirrors, universal garage door opener, auto-dimming rear-view mirror w/compass, BMW Assist with Bluetooth, Novillo leather, Carbon Leather trim), Technology Package (M Drive system, comfort access system, satellite navigation system w/voice command system, Real Time Traffic Information system), heated front seats, rear parking sensors, premium sound system, satellite radio with 1 year subscription and iPod and USB adaptor
As you may know already, Bmw unveiled last week the 2011 Frozen Gray M3 Coupe, a new limited edition of the popular sports car which celebrates the 25th birthday of the M3 model.

If you were planning to buy one of the 30 units of this limited edition we have bad news: in just fifteen minutes after the hotline opened, all the cars have been SOLD. For those who don’t know the 2011 Frozen Gray
M3 model carries the Competition Package which reduces vehicle ride height by 10mm and includes unique 19" wheels
with wider offset for enhanced stability, standard Electronic Damping Control with enhanced programming, and higher-threshold programming for the M Dynamic Mode. Also, we find the M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT) which lowers the 0-60mph acceleration time of the M3 to 4.5 seconds from 4.7

The reason there is no history on the auto check is because I just bought the car on 7/26/10. I am the 1 and only owner of this car. There is no lien on the car, I own it outright. The car is in my possession and in my garage. Every piece of paper has my name on it! This car can not be ordered from any BMW dealership in the country. All the cars are accounted for. Remember there are ONLY 30 in the USA. The car is BRAND NEW. If you have any questions please e-mail me.

You can say it in a pm to the seller or in an email but technically the rules for the classified section say you can't take a dump in someone elses for sale thread...anyone should question and research an $80k car for sale for $115k

The moderators don't pass judgment on who prices what car for what price - all they do is approve/reject the listing. It is up to each of us to decide the sanity of the offer - or lack thereof. This isn't the first car to be listed here by an obvious flipper looking to make some coinage at another fool's expense - more power to him if he makes it work.

sure, I agonized about whether or not to even approve this thread...if I had decided not to, I'm sure there would be just as many members upset that the member wasn't permitted an opportunity to list...I don't like flipper ads but as has been said this isn't the first and with more limited production cars coming soon it probably won't be the last...my remarks were only intended to caution any member considering this car to do his homework...I don't consider that dumping in someone else's for sale thread and if there are cars out there at MSRP then members need to know that too...but saying the car isn't worth x dollars is dumping in my opinion

Just a question, but why can't this member post his own for sale thread and why does it need moderator approval from you? Just wondering. Is there special privlidges for a few or isn't it 100 minimum posts before posting a for sale thread anyway. I do realize that you try to keep some kind of order in the community and for spammers not to just use this site to just post for sale threads and to rather actually contribute releveant information.

That being said, please keep this forum clear of all other traffic that does not pertain to the sale of this vehicle. Off topic posts will be removed henceforth.

This is very true as I am one of those members with less than 100 posts who was allowed to post a FS thread here. I am very grateful and appreciative of that from Moderator BBYwu. I sold my car in 1 week after posting here and b/c of that am now looking for a new toy.

GLWS to the original Frozen Gray M3 seller
