A very sad day

Its actually GONE. SOLD yesterday to a local San Jose buyer.

I hope to see it around every once and a while. It will be missed. We owned for almost 14 years!

Rare opportunity to acquire a single owner 98 C2S wide body with no questionable history or background.

Original owner of a Arena Red 1998 C2S, purchased from Rector Porsche in Burlingame, CA. The car is in very excellent condition considering its age. This vehicle is my wife’s car and she is getting the itch for something new.

It currently has 120,000 miles on it and has been maintained by Stevens Creek Porsche (Santa Clara, CA) and Carlsen Porsche (Redwood City, CA). It has also had a little additional upkeep by Jerry Woods Enterprise, (engine and exhaust seals and gaskets around 90K).

The interior is the Grey & Black C2S limited edition color combo. Drivers seat has signs of wear on the left bolster as well as the driver’s side door seal. These are the only visible signs of wear. Just installed (Sept. 2010) Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position RE050A‘s, all the way around. Brakes...depending on what one wishes to do/drive the car are probably good for another 30+K. We did pads and rotors at 70K (Porsche Factory rotors & pads). The clutch was done right around the same time period, (Sachs SRE Performance Clutch Kit).

The motor has been custom dyno tuned and is putting out 317 rwhp. Mods include: TRG Unichip piggy back with custom mapping while on dyno, Fabspeed F1 open air box with BMC filter, Fabspeed exhaust, Ebeich euro spec springs, H&R 10mm spacers, and TechArt Carbon shock tower brace. We still have the stock springs, exhaust, and Motorsports Sound package (air box). Vehicle was recently CA smogged in December of 2009 (passed).

Her car has never been tracked, just has been driven to a lot of golf courses!

Awesome car!! The 993 C2S is one of my favorite pcars of all time. I love the split rear grill. I used to have a 98 in dark blue.

I have been getting a lot of request regarding the interior shots. I haven't time to get the interior detailed-out yet. I'd like to get the carpets shampooed and a top notch detail done before shooting any pictures. However, below are a few before pictures as well as some stealthy audio upgrades I had done for my wife so she could listen to satellite radio and have it sound like modern day factory installs and not going through a FM modulator.

Sound System has been upgraded as well to support current technologies, iPod, MP3, Bluetooth, XM, etc. All of which is hidden from view to retain a clean stock appearance. Alpine CDA-9886 Head Unit mounted in the glove box with RF Remote Control, Apline PDX-5 Amp, Alpine Custom tuned Imprint Sound Package, and Hertz Hi-Energy HSK 163 Speakers in stock location and grills.







Its also wired up for 8.0" custom made sub woofer that fits in perfectly behind the drivers seat, finished off in matching interior carpet. She wanted more bass, however after spending $800 to have it custom made and installed it was TOO much bass for her liking....I thought it sounded great!
