Short of new on the forum even though I'm a long time lurker, for those who don't know me, I am a pretty active member on other Audi and BMW forums so if anyone has a doubt, feel free to look up and research any of the previous transactions I have been a part of.
For sale is my 2001 Audi RS4
Build date: 11/22/2000
Exterior color: Nogaro Blue
Interior: Onyx Silver (off white leather)
Mileage: ~147k kilometers (~90k miles)
Location: Valencia, Spain
Factory options:
- Carbon fiber belt line trim
- Bose sound system
- Cruise control
- Climate control
- Electric heated seats
Aftermarket options:
- Hands free bluetooth device by Parrot (very popular in Europe)
Exterior:
- The exterior is near perfect condition with only a few rock chips on the front bumper and hood grill area, I honestly can't say much other than that the car has always been well kept and cleaned/detailed often. Always garaged. The RS4 badge is on the wrong side because it fell off got stolen a few years ago and the previous owner (75 year old man) replaced it after a while of it being off on the wrong side.
Interior:
- Leather is great with no stains and very minor wear marks on driver's seat, carpets are clean with no stains, never smoked in, the back of the front seats are missing the nets, it has new front floor mats. The cluster LCD screen is totally readable but a few pixels will disappear on very hot days, even then, it's readable.
Engine:
- It has never been modified, most of the maintenance work was performed at the local Audi dealership, that includes, timing belt kit, cam chain tensioner guides, front upper control arms, all 4 shocks, 2 exhaust clamps, A/C compressor and clutch.
The car runs great, with no warning lights, transmission shifts smooth and it's a great example of an RS4.
When buying the car:
- I am asking $22,500 USD and that includes shipping to an eastern US port (Miami, New York, New Jersey..etc), the car will need to be federalized to be road legal, this will require the buyer to place a bond for 1.5 times of the value of the car that will be refunded once the car is road legal, after the bond is placed, the car will need to be converted to US standards using OEM parts at a registered importer and the price will be anywhere from 12-17k, the process should not take more than 10 weeks I believe.
Here is a list of registered importers: http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/impo...t01122006.html
The buyer is more than welcome to come and check out the car and test drive it.
Most of you will ask, why not sell it in Spain? Well, things are very tough in Spain and there isn't very many people looking for a B5 RS4 at the moment.
Thanks everyone,
GWerks
