Yes i'm familiar with IMS bearing issues. I read all about it. I went to the dealer two weeks ago to get a full service record on the car because a couple prospective buyers were inquiring about that. It was not done by the dealer at which i purchased the car. They explained to me that there is no way of knowing if it was done if they didn't do it and have it on record or if i didn't have it done personally and know for a fact that it was changed.

The last prospective buyer had everything ready to have it done at his local INDY shop and he said it was going to cost him $1500 parts and labor. I was going to split the bill with him but he kind of fell on hard time and could not complete the deal. The car runs very well and i could understand that someone just want the piece of mind but as it sits condition and price any buyer can have it done if it was not done by the pervious owner before me. Car has been a problem free car from day one and its been daily driven since purchased last march. A lot more reliable then my BMW 650 i had prior to this car.
