I figured I'd post this here too as there a lot of racers that would like to tow but can't/won't drop $50K on a newer diesel rig . . . LOL I've owned them all over the years so I have very good knowledge and in the military I was very familier with the GEP/Detroit Diesel 6.5 Turbo Diesel in the Hummers. 1995 model.

New uprated 130 amp Alt, dual 750CCA batteries, PS pump, 12 blade Duramax fan/HD Hayden clutch upgrade, full exhaust crossover/turbo back, 180 T-stat, Remote PMD, K47 air box w/K&N, new GM tow mirrors, B&W Gooseneck and B&W 16K/1600TW bumper hitches , upgraded Wix spin-on fuel filter system & upgraded E158 lift pump, Peninsula (Borg&Warner) S2E towing turbo w/ custom Buddy tow tune (max 18psi), new E-load Firestone Transforce AT 235/85-16 (32in tall) new brakes F/R, cooling/ diff/ oil services, full gauges, 4.10 gears, brake controller, Grill guard with Hella 500s, new headlights/tail lights, side step bumpers, Carlson tailgate, and bed liner, and the entire undercarriage cleaned and coated. Tows great and gets 18+mpg hwy. Interior is in fantastic condition with the dark blue cloth and a new leather wrap on the steering wheel. EGT, boost, and IAT gauges (all the usual tow info) installed with a 7 inch CD/DVD flip out stereo. This is a rare find in the GMT 400 bodied trucks. A 6.5TD with NV4500 manual in a Silverado package. Only 0.3% of the trucks that year were like this. Usually the 6.5TD/NV 4500 5 speed was in the work trucks and run 300+K miles) I've towed 6K many times like a walk in the park (can tow 12-13K but this is not a brand new Cummins/Duramax so don't expect 16-20K) when picking up hay for the wife. She cannot drive a manual well enough with the horse trailer so I am forced to sell as an auto is replacing this beautiful truck. Clean Carfax and I'm the 4th owner.
