Very nice DB9 for those of you thinking about Aston ownership, here's a nice one ...well cared for and meticulously maintained indeed!
What kind of wheels are those?
Best of luck with the Sale Dan :-)

I used to own a 2005 DB9 and miss it!
This isn't one of the rare 6 speed manuals so it is an auto-manual with paddle shifters and an auto mode.

It's a ZF sourced automatic with a torque converter, rear mounted. Shift by paddle or use "D". No clutch.
You got it. This is one of the things that brought me to the DB9, no expensive clutch jobs to worry about!! I had originally wanted a Vanquish at the time but heard to many horror stories about how weak the clutch is in those things. If I remember right, during a Top Gear review, Clarkson even had trouble with the reliability of the clutch in a Vanquish.

Yes, it's long gone. You must be getting desperate to find a car if you're bumping threads this old? Good luck in your search!
No I wouldn't say desperate. Just going through the old stuff to see whats out there. Once the right one comes around I'll jump on it.
Having owned a 2005 DB9 would you say that it's a great car or would it be better to hold out until I can find an 08 with the little upgrades they made that year?
