Major upcoming life changes (new house, marriage, and grad school - all in one year!) mean that it makes less and less sense to have a 420hp German sedan in the stable.
I honestly never thought that I would sell this car after spending so many years wanting one, but, as they say, life happens. It has absolutely lived up to my considerable

Interior (9/10):

The interior of the car is in great shape. The seats look brand new in the rear, and have minimal wear in the front. All electronics (seat heaters, power sunshade, sunroof, etc) work flawlessly. The headliner has zero sagging. The car has been tinted with 3M Crystalline window tint and there is zero bubbling or discoloration of the tint. I have a set of Weathertech rubber mats for the interior (including trunk) that I use in winter months, and a set of Audi carpeted mats for summer use. Additionally, the glovebox and armrest hinges, common failure points on B7 chassis Audis, are in perfect condition.

Issues:
Sunroof rattle, especially when cold (will be fixed within the next few weeks)

Exterior/Wheels (8/10):

The exterior of the car is in good shape, especially considering it was daily driven by the second owner and myself over a 7 year period. The car has extensive 3M Clear Bra on the exterior (Front bumper, half of hood, all 4 wheel arches, side skirts). Both Mugello Blue and Clearcoat OEM Audi touch-up pens are included. All exterior electronics function correctly, and there is minimal pitting on the windshield and headlights. The car is a great 20 foot car. It is in no way a concours level vehicle on the exterior, but looks great for a car that is driven every day. The wheels are almost entirely curb and chip free. There is a single curb mark on the front right wheel that I did not notice for the first 8 months of ownership – was damaged by either the first or second owner.

Issues:

Rock chips on areas without clear bra (underside of front lip, leading edge of roof, trailing edge of rear doors)
Exhaust tips are discolored from rock chips (removed part of the titanium finish)
Scratches on hood, trunk, and rear driver door
3-4mm rust bubble on rear passenger door (has not spread during my ownership period – looks like the hole in the paint finish was probably first created by a rock chip)

Engine Mechanicals (10/10):

Mechanically, the car needs absolutely nothing. S Mode (valved exhaust, amongst other things) functions properly – there are no vacuum leaks or other issues. I performed a carbon clean, replaced the PCV oil separator, and replaced the intake manifold flap solenoid within the last 200 miles. The car is completely stock, with the exception of an 034 torque mount (the old mount was removed and had no damage) and JH Motorsports Intake Manifold spacers (installed during recent carbon clean). If desired, I can provide all parts necessary to return the engine to stock – the intake port separators were removed upon installation of the manifold spacers.

Suspension/Brakes/Tires (9/10):

There are no issues with the suspension, brakes, or tires, but some components will need replacement within 10,000 to 15,000 miles. The car is shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on all 4 corners. I live in a temperate enough climate that I use them year-round. The remaining tire tread is approximately 4/32nds of an inch. I am happy to purchase and install new Pilot Super Sports all around for the current asking price + $650.

Brakes have approximately half of their useful life remaining. The car will likely need both new pads and new rotors at the next brake change. Rotors can be sourced from Brembo for approximately $1200 for all 4 corners, pads are $300-$350. The dynamic ride control (DRC) recall was completed, there are no leaks from DRC and the system works perfectly.

Maintenance:

I have all maintenance records from my and the previous owner’s time with the car. I have all fuel receipts from my purchase of the car, as well as a spreadsheet with all fuel and maintenance data. I have also tracked oil consumption with this spreadsheet – currently the car is using about 1L of oil per 3200 miles, well within Audi specifications.

The following services have been completed within the last 5,000 miles:

-Carbon cleaning
-Intake manifold spacer installation
-PCV oil separator replacement
-Manifold flap solenoid replacement
-Manifold drive unit replacement (passenger side)
-Torque mount replacement
-Oil change with Mobil 1 0w40 full synthetic and Mann filter
-Oil change with Castrol Edge 5w40 full synthetic and Mann filter
-Coolant flush
