This is a factory L-tuned Series II, 5MT, LSD car. All the L-tuned pieces are OEM except the front bumper. The OEM L-tuned bumper was damaged in 2012 and replaced with a replica. The car was totaled in 2004 at 60k miles by the first owner. I am the 3rd owner and have owned it since January 2008 @ ~100k miles. It drives straight, aligns to spec, and wears tires even.
I've read 5MTs were roughly 10% of overall production, but it's typically less than 5% of those listed for sale on online. I've never seen production numbers for L-tuned cars, but judging on how rarely they are seen, I'd say it has to be less than 1%. At the time of this writing (5/20/17) there are currently only 10 5MT IS300s nationwide on cars.com and autotrader and the average price is over $9k. Of course none of are L-tuned. I would wager that my car is nicer than all those regardless of title status or miles.
This car has ~$19k in parts. That does not include any general labor (engine swap, clutch/flywheel, water pump, timing belt, valve stem seals, transmission rebuild, etc). It is also CEL free except for an intermittent cylinder 2 misfire which I have traced to the injector. This will be replaced prior to sale. A CEL free IS300 turbo is virtually unheard of in the IS300 community. All gauges and systems still operate like stock (traction control, snow mode, mpg gauge, fuel gauge, etc). The car also has Racelogic traction control. The HKS GDMax twin disc clutch is very street friendly. The clutch pedal light and it is slippable. This car has always been a semi-daily driver for me. Drivability was a major priority when I selected parts for the build.
Please do not waste your time or mine with lowball offers because the car has a rebuilt title or "high" miles. Let's say an average 5MT IS300 is $9k. Add 1/2 the cost of the parts ($9.5k of the $19k spent). This puts you at $18.5k with no consideration for the labor or the fact it is an original L-tuned car that is very clean. I feel my price is fair.

Just wanted to vouch for Ted. I bought the '94 Supra he listed on here a few weeks ago and it was honestly the nicest car buying experience I've had. He was completely up front about everything and the car was even better than he had described. Buy with full confidence!
Buy with confidence, Ted is a longtime friend and so is kpflynn, who just bought his Supra. This is the kind of seller you want to buy a car from, and this IS300 is an exceptional one! Don't hesitate is my advice.
I would love for you to own it
I'm glad you are enjoying the Supra. Just try and keep it between the ditches
Thanks for the kind words. I'm sure this IS300 would love to move up to the Pacific Northwest to rejoin the Supra
It made ~450whp and 425 ftlbs with an old school 67mm Comp Turbo (.68 A/R). There are dyno plots and videos in the google album linked in the first post. It currently has a Precision 6262 (.86 A/R). I never dynoed it with the 6262 but would guess it makes about the same power with better spool and more top end. I think it ran ~3.0s 60-90 on the Vbox. It should be good for low 120s in the 1/4.

The car is sold. I actually agreed on terms with the buyer only a couple of days after posting it for sale, but did not want to officially declare it sold until I received payment and the car was picked up. It was indeed paid for and picked up last week. I then was on the road for several days and forgot to update the thread. Thanks to all that inquired.
