You do realize that the car is worth about 16k? Not trying to bust your chops, but your price is almost double market value.

KBB and NADA high retail value is between $21-23K and I already had offers at those high retail value prices.

$16K must be a high mileage M3

Price is negotiable....

Ha ha, we wanted to buy an R32, the local dealer wouldnt let us test drive it, we explained that we have had M3's M5's and other substantially more expensive, rarer cars...they held their ground, I found a dealer in WI who not only had one, but gave us $1,800 off a free dvd player and a free bike...

No, his price isn't ridiculous, a single-owner low-mileage E36 M3 is hard to find these days, some people are willing to pay way over KBB. Granted, it's not a desireable color combo like Estorial/Black, but it's a clean car.

My car with 103k miles would be fetching about 16k, so 23+ isn't ridiculous.

Good thing he cleaned that rain ASAP. I hear BMWs are notorious for melting in the rain.

I bought a 1997 M3 in 1999, black/black 2 dr, with 20k miles from a dealer for 32k (certified pre owned). KBB I just checked for private party for this car is 16k, who would pay 11k over blue book for a car because it has one owner? Either way, it sounds like he is the second owner.

damn guys, you must be feeling like going boxing today.. lol

while the price is high, you may be able to hold out and find the right buyer.

i would shoot for more like 23k though.

Let's just let this guy sell his car The market will dictate what the going price is...and if it's not what he wants... he'll either have to reduce (if he wants to sell) or keep that beauty.

Well, if the buyer is serious of course he can test drive my car, I just do not want non-seriuos buyers disrespecting the car and pushing it to its limits and telling me sorry I will not buy the car.

A seriuos buyer will respect my request to not push it while test driving it.

M32,
You are correct, I am in no rush to sell my car.

This car is for someone who always wanted a E36 M3 sedan 5 speed back in 1998 but could not afford it when it was selling for $45-50K, and now that buyer can buy a almost new condition low mileage M3 sedan for about half the price.
