i ordered these wheels and installed them early in late 12/2005. they have around 300 miles on them with conti tires. i am not sure the offset as DPE do not like to release them. i was told that they are based on the offset for Gemballa.

i have to sell them because my car is sold (if everything goes well). i am told that they will not fit 997S.

they are 19x9 front and 19x11.5 back. tires are 235 front and 315 back. here are some photos i have posted before.

i am asking 4k for everything. there is no damage from my last inspection. local buyers only in socal. they will be off the car tomorrow. thanks.

 

Trovan... Why are you selling it ? Parting out the car or just changing the wheels ?

 

dice, once again, your car is looking awesome. i sold the car!! it will be picked up on wednesday if everything goes well. that is why i am selling the wheels. feeling sad now seeing pic of your wing. that was my next project. but 997S... here i come!!

99% yes. all the details are worked out and the exchange is scheduled for wednesday. i actually wanted to keep the wheels at first thinking i may get a 996 turbo. but i think i am now convinced on a 997S. too bad they won't fit a 997S. i paid a lot for them and waited 3 months.

 

Obviously, I sincerely hope the deal goes through so that you can move on to your new toy, but PLEASE keep me in mind if the sale falls through. I would even consider buying the wheels as well based on the pricing that you listed in your for sale post. Again, I hope it works out for you! Good luck!

u should keep it for 6 month more. a little more should be fine too.

 

wheels/tires have been off the car since last week. they appear perfect on inspection. sitting in the garage now with my wife telling me to get rid of them.

will now take offers from non-locals also. thanks.

 

may I ask what color & finish is the center?

 

it is called titanium asphalt. it's an anodized finished that is almost gunmetal. however, it is very sensitive to lighting. it appears much darker at night, and almost light grey under the sun.

that is not even funny. i just had an episode of palpitation. are you serious??? you know how good they would look on my new slate grey 997!!! call me if you serious. the buyer just left with my wheels 10 min ago. he is on a truck, i can chase him down on my S4........ you are kidding right?? cuz DPE told me no!!
