LMR Turbo Prototype Race Car (Built 500HP Hyabusa Engine)
LMR Turbo Prototype Race Car (Built 500HP Hyabusa Engine)
Year: 2015
Make: Suzuki
Model: SX4
Price: $25800
Mileage: 100
Color: Green
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NC
The car is in great working condition with very limited hours on the motor/trans since building it. I have a toddler and another baby on the way. I just won’t have the time to get my skill level up to be fast in this car at this stage in life.
The car was street legal in Oregon. I have a new complete kit uninstalled (aux battery, kill switch, relays, wiring, headlights, tail lights, turn indicators, horn, etc.) to make it street legal again. Rules vary state by state but I could get it street legal in NC without a problem. I don’t see it being an issue in any state but I only investigated in NC where I live.
The body panels have a little wear/use in some areas but structurally are fine. If you are particular there is little repair work to get them showroom new. All the molds, build books, logs, CAD drawings, files, etc. will also be included with the sale. I also have an extra set of 4 brand new Konig wheels with brand new Hoiser tires mounted to them that will be included. The molds (3 pieces) are a tad larger than the car (FYI). The car easily has $70K into it. It’s a great track toy or Radical alternative. With the power, it should be faster than just about anything on the track with a good driver. The power to weight ratio on the high boost setting is similar to an Indy Car.
I also have a ~1.5yr old 22’ V-nose enclosed trailer w/ winch (wireless remote controlled) that can be included for an extra $4K.

It's a pretty short history. I purchased it back in May of 2019 with the idea I'd want something purpose built. Was looking at Radicals but was intrigued by the performance of this one and didn't want an ancient Radical (all I could afford in my budget). I only took it out to one track day and was pretty slow as it was my first time in the car, learning it, etc. I picked up things in later sessions but didn't even bother logging since I was just feeling out the car. Since then, I had a slew of travel, things picking up at the office and found out my wife was pregnant. She already hated this purchase but with a toddler and another one coming, I don't see myself having time to play with this thing.
