I guess I've finally hit that age... The "fun" cars aren't bringing as much joy anymore. This one is a hoot, but mostly sits in the garage on a trickle charger. So, I'm in the process of transitioning the garage from German to Japanese in the name of better reliability and comfort. The wife's X3 just got swapped out for a new Lexus, and I'll be selling the Z next.

Purchased the car a little over a year ago in Chicago. The original owner had traded it to the dealership from which I bought. He had the supercharger set up done at a highly reputable shop. It was actually in a Zpost write up that I'll try to find and attach below. Also have retained every nut, bolt, and part to put the car back to stock if desired. Even have the OEM wheels with 2006 date coded tires. The only part I'm aware of not available is the exhaust (Eisenmann now). Below are the items I've addressed, updated, or added:

APEX Arc8 staggered wheels - 19"
Hankook Ventus V12 evo 2 - maybe 3k miles
H&R springs
ZHP shift ****
Shorty antenna
Window tint

Last month:
Oil service
Supercharger service
New coil packs
New spark plugs

At purchase:
Oil service
Supercharger service
New brake, transmission, and diff fluids
CDV delete

Figured I'd start here and Bimmerpost before potentially going the BAT route. I'm happy to answer any questions.

Car is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas (72701)
Asking price is $29,500.

@arjayr33 I'm honestly not completely sure of the HP gain. My understanding is that the supercharger setup adds something close to 100 HP, though. It's definitely enough to keep up with most performance vehicles when doing fun highway pulls!

1-month bump. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for more information or specific photos. I recently made contact with the original owner through another forum. He has been very open and helpful regarding history prior to my purchase, so we should be able to answer queries between the two of us. I do intend to get better/more professional pictures up eventually once the weather is nice.

Thank you, @brightoncorgi . I honestly haven't tried too hard yet. And after doing a bit of a photo shoot for potentially placing on BAT, I'm having serious second thoughts...

Your photos are great - You just need a buyer who knows what the car is .
I had a 07 MC with S/C and can really appreciate your M . Sold a stock 06 MR 2 years ago after 9 years of enjoyment /
Good luck with sale - I follow it because I'm trying to decide if I want a 2-seater again!!

Thanks for the positive words @waynerosebmw. I’m seriously reconsidering right now. Lots of conflicting thoughts. May just swap out the daily instead and hang onto the Z4M for a few more years. It’ll still be low mileage and perhaps the appreciation curve will begin to move in my favor!

A few more miles now due to necessary proper social distancing therapy.

Still open to selling when the time is right; although, that may be at least a few more months...

Speaking of "social distancing therapy"

I Sold a Cayenne last week to a guy in Dallas, His Wife was in the Heath Care Business & they felt leaving the Truck Alone for 48 hours was just fine...

FYI for Buyers out there, Just One Opinion From One Seller, Of course there's Other Info Out There....
