Standard deal for consignment is a $500 up front ad fee and 4% of sale value. For the 6Speed online members I am dropping the rate to 2% of sale value, total, and removing the ad fee. The ad fee is part of the 2%, it is a non refundable portion that covers some of the costs of listings. I do ask for the exclusive listing so that I can get my investment in the ads back.
Big stand out that most people like so far is unlike most consignment brokers that require you to get the car to them to hold until sale, that is not a requirement for my service. That allows me to keep costs down and ultimately you to keep your car in your possession so that you can continue to enjoy it. No CNC nonsense here, you keep your car and title with you. I help transfer title at time of sale and I can act as an escrow to secure your funds from the buyer. Also, I can help with bank payoffs as well to make it easy for you and the buyer.
