Anyone in the DC area have a 987 driver seat I could borrow?
So I just moved to Arlington, VA, and went to get my car emission tested and safety checked for registration, but because I have a Sparco racing seat, my airbag light is on. My factory seat is still in California, and my brother-in-law won't be able to ship it here until he (and family) get back from Greece in a few weeks. Eventually, my seat will get here. I doubt it will be here before I need to complete my vehicle registration. So if anyone in the DC / Northern Virginia area has a spare 987 factory driver seat, I'd love to borrow it for a little while.
Just DM me or leave a post here. Thanks. Cheers!

If the 987 is anything like the Audi B5 S4....a resistor plugged into the airbag seat connector will take care of the code. You just have to have someone clear the code after the resistor is installed.
Its worth a shot.

Easier yet you just get a 997/987 buckle off ebay and connect wiring & dummy insert for the clip.
If i recall in the past you had to select an older model for the airbag reset for the Durametric. (maybe they fixed that)
