I purchased my 02 TII from the 3rd owner. This car has been a southern car since it was purchased (I have the original purchase agreement) with the owner's living in North Carolina; South Carolina; Florida and now, Tennessee. It was formerly displayed at the BMW Zentrum in South Carolina.

The car has 100,000 miles with extensive reciepts supporting the restoration. The engine has been completely rebuilt and it has the 5 speed transmission conversion. Interior redone and car has been painted (same factory original color; Nevade Beige). The body is rust free with one small spot that was touched up.

I bought this car sight unseen and the condition exceeded my expectations. It is a great driver and I am more than happy to coordinate an inspection with a local tech that started his business with 02's.

I love 2002's but cannot recite every small detail like many 02 fans can. I can provide extensive documentation and verify that this is the nicest 02 I found after searching for 5-6 years for the right example.

I have been on a mission for years to find the right one. I found a good, not great E30 M3 and decided to buy the 2002 TII instead. I also had an E28 M5 and I miss that car! I love the older BMW's.

As for selling your car, if you are in SoCal, take it to Crystal Cove. I wouldn't be surprised if someone writes you a check on the spot.
