For sale (feeler): '04 M3 w/ a few mods

19K miles. Mint condition. Seattle area so no concern for salted roads at all. Full factory warranty thru 8/08 or 50K miles.

Included:

-19" BBS LMs w/ S-03s (less than 3K miles on these)
-Borla exhaust (new pretty much)
-TC Kline coilovers with camber plates, RTABs and RSMs installed (less than 3K miles on these)
-UUC w/ DSSR short shift kit (new pretty much)
-Full 3M kit from the very start

Babied. Always garaged.

Selling for no real good reason. Maybe because I'm fickle.

$47.5K firm otherwise I'm keeping it for a while longer or parting out later down the line.

Here's a recent pic:

haha my bad fellas. can u tell i just thought up the sale this AM when I got into work? this is the only place i posted this too.

6-speed. interior is mint and in black. i'm very ez on my cars and with my non-sweaty hands even the steering wheel leather is matte v. shiny. no dogs. no sweaty people in the back seats. pretty much a weekend driver.

-premium package
-no navi
-no heated seats
-it's got the LEDs since it's an '04
-HK option

proof it's in the garage - next to my trust daily driver

Awesome pics...

I havnt done much reading on the m3 forums yet...tell me about the TC kline setup, how is it compared to stock or pss9. I'd like height adjustability, but the roads in norcal mind as well be downtown sf. Do you have all the stock parts?

It's superior to either setup, bottom-line.

It comes with camber plates. Beautifully machined. It was all assembled together with loving care by this dude named Dan Law. I went with 500lbs all around (Eibach). Koni single adjustables. Ride is firm, but compliant. Coming from a supercharged S2000 lowered on KW3s, the stock M3 suspension was way too floaty at speed for me. corner balanced and aligned conservatively for the street.

The stock RSMs were replaced with stronger ones that should last the life of the car. The stock RTABs were replaced with stronger aftermarket ones as preventative maintenance since my car is still pretty low mileage and driven lightly.

All the things a mindful owner would do has been done to this car. Nothing over the top, just enhanced exterior, performance, some interior. Took about $10K to get it where I wanted it to be and it's where I want it to be. Thus the reason why i'm not all gung-ho on selling it. i'm very content.

I don't like messing too much with a good thing and this is the approach i'll live by with my future cars as well.

I appreciate the feedback ben, your car is very tempting...now I need to decide if a black/black loaded competition pkg car is worth a few grand more

ZCP car is cool if u plan on keeping it stock. i know that the steering ratio is diff and it's got the bigger rotors. plus the dsc is more lax. i noticed very little if any diff with the non-zcp car. it's not faster. it's just better in a few depts stock for stock, but once u go aftermarket, game on.

just wasn't worth it in my eyes and i don't like alcantara on touch pieces. plus the controls on the steering wheels.. bt... all stuff i want for a this gt coupe car which is the M3. now if it came with the csl aero pieces... for a bit more... i would've definitely done it. you differentiate right there visually.

other than that, i know i wasn't happy with the stock suspension and wheels so opted to go for a non-zcp and just ride out.

so uknow where i stand today. good luck, tho. it's a fun process.

Excellent M3 set up. You need more description in your ad. Not many people except M3 nuts know who Dan Law is or even what TC Kline is. Dan Law is perhaps the premier M3 suspension guru, and TC Kline suspensions are top notch. You should describe what RTABs and RSMs are. Luckily the LM's speak for themselves. A 4.10 diff is the only thing I'd add to that M3.
Great pics, I'd post interior pics as well.

apparently i'm not enuf of an m3 nut lol...good points about the zcp ben, your car is definitely superior w/ the bbs and susp setup. I will be pm'ing you my cell shortly Honestly tho, ive not missed steering wheel controls on any cars ive driven in the past and i surely wouldnt mind that sexy alcantara wheel in lu of them on the m3. With the couple k I could save over the 05, i think a oem CSL trunk might be in order

great advice, paul, but it should be stated that right now i'm just trying to separate the starters from the bench players. i don't want to deal with anyone who isn't an enthusiast and can't appreciate what's on the car today as-is.

if i was pressed to sell at all, yea you'd better bet i'd be marketing it in a diff manner.

appreciate the advice, tho.
